For Future’s Sakeとして知られるSimon Aksenfeldは、生粋のニューヨーカーであり、ニューヨークのダンスミュージック・シーンにおける影響力ある存在である。ウクライナ生まれ、ニューヨーク育ちのAksenfeldは、名門Broadway Dance Centerで学び、プロのボールルームダンサーとして研鑽を積んだ。その後、伝説的なハウスダンサーであるEjoe WilsonやBrian Greenと共に学ぶ機会を得る。この経験こそが、彼のハウスミュージックへの愛が形作られ始めた原点である。

Simon Aksenfeld, known as For Future’s Sake, is a quintessential New Yorker and an influential figure in the city’s dance music scene. Ukrainian born and New York raised, Aksenfeld studied at the prominent Broadway Dance Center, training as a professional ballroom dancer, and later would go on to learn alongside legendary house dancers Ejoe and Brian Green. This is where his love for house music began to take shape.
Simon is one of New York City’s most versatile vinyl only DJs, showmen, and storytellers, recognized by Spiritual Mental Physical NYC as an “exceptional talent and musical magician”, seamlessly blending genres together, and knowing exactly when to amp up, pull back, and cruise control the energy of a room into the wee hours of the night.
A respected crate digger and artful music curator, Simon can be found at the renowned A1 Record Shop during the week, where he helms the store’s famed dance music section (if you’re lucky you may catch him spinning in the back when you pop by).
