About
DJ Mizuyo, a Japanese native from Yokohama City, developed a deep passion for black music culture and world music. She began her DJ career in 1999 and has been based in Bangkok since 2010. Influenced by a crew in Yokohama that embraced turntable culture, skateboarding, and percussions, Mizuyo immersed herself in Cuban and Brazilian music. Inspired by her experiences, she launched the vibrant Afro-party series ‘Shrine’ in Tokyo.
